Jesper Just's 'Seminarium' Blends Nature and Technology at Florence's Museo Marino Marini
At the Museo Marino Marini in Florence, you can catch 'Seminarium,' an exhibition by Danish artist Jesper Just, who was born in Copenhagen in 1974. This display, curated by Caroline Corbetta, will be open until March 20, 2022. It’s the first international project from the new board of the Fondazione Marino Marini, led by President Carlo Ferdinando Carnacini, with advisors including Sergio Risaliti and Barbara Cinelli. Just, who represented Denmark at the 55th Venice Biennale, has transformed the museum's basement into a unique underground space. There, human figures are shown in a surreal atmosphere, with violet-lit screens that help local plants thrive while exploring the relationship between people and nature.
