Jerwood/Photoworks Awards Open Call for Photographic Artists
So, the Jerwood/Photoworks Awards are open for applications now! This initiative, a collaboration between the Jerwood Charitable Foundation and Photoworks, is supported by Spectrum Photographic. It started back in 2015 to help up-and-coming photographers, specifically those who are within ten years of launching their careers. Two winners will receive £10,000 each for their projects, plus an additional £5,000 for production costs. They'll also get a year of mentorship from a panel of international experts. The program wraps up with a joint exhibition at Jerwood Space in London starting January 2020, followed by a UK tour. Applications are due by 5pm on November 5, 2018, and there are no fees or age limits to worry about. Submissions in video or audio formats are acceptable, and there's funding available for those who need support.
