Jerry Schatzberg's Bob Dylan photographs collected in new Skira book

A new book from Skira, 'Dylan / Schatzberg', gathers for the first time Jerry Schatzberg's photographs of Bob Dylan, including the iconic cover of 'Blonde on Blonde' (1966). The volume features a 1965 reportage by Al Aronowitz originally published in the New York Herald Tribune on December 12, 1965, and a long interview-dialogue between Jonathan Lethem and Schatzberg. Schatzberg, born in New York in 1927, later became a film director known for 'Scarecrow' (1973) starring Gene Hackman and Al Pacino. The book includes dozens of shots, some famous, others less known, often with the blur characteristic of Schatzberg's style.
