Jerome Robbins Ballets Close San Carlo Season in Naples

Clotilde Vayer, director of the Teatro di San Carlo ballet company, closed the season with three Jerome Robbins works: In the Night, Afternoon of a Faun, and En Sol. The ballets were restaged by Jean-Pierre Frohlich, a former Robbins student. The orchestra, conducted by Philippe Béran, performed Chopin nocturnes, Debussy's Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune, and Ravel's Concerto in G major. Étoiles Salvatore Manzo, Stany Capissi, Alessandro Staiano, and others performed, with Claudia D'Antonio and Danilo Notaro starring in En Sol.
