Il 24 e 25 aprile 2026, Jeremy Nedd presenterà 'from rock to rock... aka how magnolia was taken for granite' al McGuire Theater del Walker Art Center. Questa performance di 75 minuti includerà effetti di foschia e offrirà servizi di audiodescrizione il sabato. Nedd, vincitore del Swiss Performing Art Award nel 2023 e del premio di coreografia Ellis Beauregard nel 2025, collabora con gli artisti Brandy Butler, Nasheeka Nedsreal, Zen Jefferson e Jeremy Guyton. La direzione tecnica è affidata a Sebastian Sommer, con supporto coreografico di Caroline Froelich. Il pezzo è stato presentato in anteprima il 14 settembre 2023 alla Kaserne Basel, co-prodotto da De Singel Antwerp e Gessnerallee Zürich, con il sostegno di Fachausschuss Tanz & Theater BS/BL. Il Walker Art Center rende omaggio alle terre ancestrali del popolo Dakota.
