Jeff Wall Curates His Own Influences at Bozar
The exhibition titled 'The Crooked Path,' featuring Jeff Wall's works, is currently on display at the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Brussels until September 11, 2011. It showcases twenty of Wall’s pieces alongside influential works by artists such as Marcel Duchamp and Bruce Nauman, as well as films from Rainer W. Fassbinder and Stanley Kubrick. Organized non-chronologically across ten rooms, the exhibition highlights Wall's career and inspirations, including Carl Andre's 4×25 Altstadt Rectangle (1967) and Frank Stella's monochrome artworks. Additionally, it explores documentary photography and conceptual pieces from various creators. Wall co-curated the exhibition, which also features a publication edited by Hans De Wolf.
