Jean-Paul Thibeau's Meta-Archives at CAPC Bordeaux
Jean-Paul Thibeau's exhibition at CAPC musée d'art contemporain in Bordeaux from October 7, 2010 to April 3, 2011, explores the indefinition of art through constant experimentation. His practice involves displacement, participation, and mutation, using writing, drawing, dance, and sound. In 2007, he proposed depositing his archives at CAPC. Invited by Charlotte Laubard, he created a 'meta-archives' installation activated across the library, elevator, and communication room. The display includes notes, sketchbooks, photographs, objects, videos, and travel echoes, forming a fluid, hybrid body of work.
