Jean Paul Gaultier Launches Affordable Capsule Collection for OVS

other · 2026-05-05

French fashion designer Jean Paul Gaultier has created a low-cost capsule collection for Italian chain OVS, part of the Coin group. The collection, available from November 19, 2016, on the OVS website and select stores, features prices ranging from €29 to €149. Gaultier described it as fun and perfect for year-end parties, with a playing card motif on printed fabrics. The line includes asymmetric cuts, a palette of red, gray, black, and white, and elements like maxi tattoo prints, dark faux leather jackets and leggings, a military-style trench, a bustier dress, and a skirt-pant. The campaign was shot by Spanish photographer Eugenio Recuenco, known for his cinematic, gothic style, with a chessboard theme. Creative agency Universal McCann handled the campaign. Celebrities Amanda Lear, Bianca Balti, Matilde Gioli, and Sebastien Marnier have been spotted wearing pieces. OVS previously collaborated with Elio Fiorucci, Costume National, Matthew Williamson, Kristina T, Alberto Aspesi, and Arts of Italy.
