Jean Nouvel's La Marseillaise Tower Opens in Marseille

Jean Nouvel's La Marseillaise tower, inaugurated on October 25, 2019, is a 135-meter office tower in the Arenc district of Marseille, part of a regeneration plan by real estate company Constructa. The tower features 35,000 sqm of office space, facades in 30 shades of blue, white, and red reflecting regional colors, and 16,000 sqm of glass. It uses seawater for air conditioning and solar panels for the restaurant. Amenities include a 2,800 sqm restaurant with sea view, a nursery, concierge services, and 300 sqm of retail. The total cost was €113 million. The tower is part of a larger project including Balthazar by Roland Carta, Porte Bleue and H99 by Jean-Baptiste Pietri, and connects to Euroméditerranée developments like Les Docks, Euromed Center, and CMA CGM Tower.
