Jean de Loisy Appointed Curator for 2019 Lyon Biennale, Bringing Palais de Tokyo Team
Jean de Loisy has been appointed as the curator for the upcoming 15th Lyon Biennale, which is scheduled to commence in 2019. He is currently at the helm of the Palais de Tokyo in Paris and will bring along his curatorial team from that venue. This group comprises Daria de Beauvais, Adélaïde Blanc, Yoann Gourmel, Katell Jaffrès, Rebecca Lamarche-Vadel, Vittoria Matarrese, Claire Moulène, and Hugo Vitrani. As reported by local publication Le Petit Bulletin, de Loisy was initially considered to succeed Thierry Raspail as the director of both MAC Lyon and the Biennale after Raspail's recent announcement of his exit.
