Jaume Plensa and Pierre-Lin Renié Exhibitions in Southern France
Jaume Plensa's exhibition 'Le Silence de la pensée' at the Musée de Céret (until November 15) features sculptures and installations, including suspended steel silhouettes with poetic texts, 'Talking Continents' with steel mesh boulders, and a circular carpet of artificial cherries with three resin figures. The show highlights Plensa's use of light and transparency. Meanwhile, Pierre-Lin Renié's 'Tous' at Château de Jau (until September 27) presents photographs of urban fragments, portraits, and skies, displayed on placards, fabric banners, and in frames. Jean-Baptiste des Gachons' 'Autour de Picasso' at Fraïssé-des-Corbières includes a colorful reinterpretation of Picasso's 'Guernica' and other works, accompanied by a text from Jean-Michel Bouhours.
