Jasmina Cibic's 'The Arrangement' exhibition at Gandy Gallery explores justice through floral symbolism

exhibition · 2026-04-19

Jasmina Cibic's exhibition titled 'The Arrangement' will be showcased at Gandy Gallery in Bratislava from May 21 to July 27, 2025. This series highlights photographic portraits of floral displays crafted with input from members of various international legal organizations, such as the International Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights. Each floral piece symbolizes a significant human rights concern brought forth by the participants. Cibic’s work, reminiscent of classic vanitas art, explores the fleeting nature of justice and how society can either progress or regress. She was a finalist for the Aesthetica Art Prize and clinched Best Artist's Film at the BAFTA-Qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival in 2024. The Aesthetica Art Prize is open for submissions until September 30, 2025.
