Japan Foundation Launches Online Exhibition '11 Stories on Distanced Relationships'

The Japan Foundation has introduced an online exhibition called '11 Stories on Distanced Relationships: Contemporary Art from Japan,' featuring the creations of 11 modern artists. Set to run from March 30 to May 5, 2021, the exhibition explores 'Translating Distance' in response to the isolation and communication hurdles posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Curated by a team including Kimura Eriko, Kondo Kenichi, Masuda Tomohiro, and Nomura Shino, it showcases a variety of media like video, sound, and animation.
