Jane Fonda Narrates Climate Musical ‘Dear Everything’ at BAM on Earth Day
On April 22, Earth Day, the Brooklyn Academy of Music’s opera house will host a special one-night concert of 'Dear Everything: A Musical Uprising for the Earth,' created by V (previously known as Eve Ensler). Jane Fonda, a close associate of V, will serve as the narrator for this production, which includes music from Justin Tranter, Caroline Pennell, and Eren Cannata. Directed by Diane Paulus, the narrative revolves around a conflict between generations regarding forest sales in a rural community. The show, which has previously toured cities like Atlanta and Los Angeles, aims to support local climate initiatives by announcing five grants for New York organizations. V also hopes to transform the musical into an animated feature for children.
