Jan De Cock's 'Everything for you' Lands in Turin and Milan

exhibition · 2026-05-05

Belgian artist Jan De Cock (Brussels, 1976) executes urban reprisals and vandalic incursions into the contemporary art market and late-capitalist society. He installs his works in public spaces at night with his team, without seeking permission. His project 'Everything for you' has traveled from Brussels to Tokyo, Frankfurt, and now Turin, the former capital ideally opposed to Milan, the current economic hub. In Milan, he enters the market via the Trojan horse of his work, presenting reduced-scale models of his colorful sculptures and stereoscopic views of urban installations at Galleria Francesca Minini. 'Everything for you, Turin' challenges the social meaning of contemporary sculpture, stripped of the possibility of creating public monuments and free contemplation, reduced to speaking through market fetishes. The project is already being realized.
