Jamie Stevens to Lead CCA Wattis Institute Programs in San Francisco
Beginning in July 2014, Jamie Stevens will take on the role of Curator and Head of Programs at the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts in San Francisco. Prior to this, he held curatorial positions at Cubitt Gallery in London and Chisenhale Gallery. This new appointment aligns with the institute's initiative to enhance its exhibitions and events. Anthony Huberman, the Director of the Wattis Institute, commended Stevens for his focus on artists and willingness to take risks. Additionally, Stevens is part of the advisory board for castillo/corrales in Paris and serves on the acquisitions panel for the British Council Collection.
