James Richards Selected as Wales Representative for 2017 Venice Biennale

James Richards will create new work for the 57th Venice Biennale as Wales's representative, chosen by the Arts Council of Wales. The artist, known for using found footage and sound, previously received the Jarman Award in 2012 and was nominated for the Turner Prize in 2014. Cardiff's Chapter Arts Centre will curate his presentation at the international exhibition. Richards's selection was reported by Artnet in May 2016, with the biennale scheduled for 2017.
