James Brunt and Jon Foreman create 70-metre mandala at Waddesdon Manor

The Art in Nature project at Waddesdon Manor is making a comeback, featuring an impressive 70-meter mandala created by James Brunt and Jon Foreman from Sculpt the World, set on the North Front lawn. This artwork took four days to complete, with assistance from artists Mark and Eric Ford, and draws inspiration from the Manor's architecture and its natural landscape. Running until May 31, 2026, the initiative includes works from environmental artists like Rebecca and Mark Ford, Tim Pugh, Ana Castilho, Richard Shilling, Julia Brooklyn, disability advocate Sam Cleasby, and Illinois's Eric and Kasey Ford. Visitors can participate in workshops and talks. Pippa Shirley, Waddesdon's Director, emphasized the project's role in celebrating nature's beauty and its importance for wildlife. The art, made from natural materials, is temporary and will eventually return to the earth.
