Jaguar Type 01 Interior Revealed Ahead of New York Debut

Jaguar has released four images showcasing the finalized interior of its Type 01 electric vehicle, which is scheduled to launch in New York in early October 2026. The four-seat layout incorporates a central spine to create distinct spaces, substituting the original concept's travertine stone with a brass-like finish. Chief Interior Designer Thomas Holden stated that the design draws from 1990s minimalism, reflecting the vehicle's exterior shapes. Behind the two-tone steering wheel, a wide-angle display can be seen, alongside a smartphone-sized touchscreen positioned in the center console. Additionally, a digital rear-view mirror is situated at the base of the windscreen, and a glass roof extends across the cabin. Managing Director Rawdon Glover emphasized that the Type 01 represents Jaguar's innovative creative direction. The camouflaged model made its first appearance at the 2026 Goodwood Festival of Speed and is set to feature at Monterey Car Week.
