Jago's 'Look Down' Installed at Palazzo Reale in Palermo
Jago's marble sculpture 'Look Down' has been installed at Palazzo Reale in Palermo, placed in the center of Cortile Maqueda facing the Cappella Palatina until June 3. The work depicts a child in fetal position, inviting viewers to look downward toward the vulnerable. Previously exhibited at Piazza del Plebiscito in Naples during lockdown, in the Al Haniyah desert in Fujairah (UAE) as 'Look Here', and near the Colosseum in Rome, the piece is commissioned by Fondazione Federico II. Director General Patrizia Monterosso stated the installation enhances the site and creates opportunities for reflection. Jago described the work as an 'empty container' that can become something else, expressing emotional connection to Palermo.
