exhibition · 2026-04-27

On May 20, 2023, the Museo Jago was officially opened by sculptor Jago (Jacopo Cardillo, born 1987) within the Baroque church of Sant'Aspreno ai Crociferi in Naples. This museum, which repurposes Jago's studio, was created through a partnership with the Fondo Edifici Culto and is overseen by Cooperativa La Paranza, under the leadership of Don Antonio Loffredo. The museum will feature Jago's Pietà and an incomplete piece depicting Ajax and Cassandra, along with a rotating selection of artworks. Entry is free on the inaugural evening (May 20, 6–8 p.m.), with a subsequent fee of €8, which can be reserved via the Catacombe di Napoli website. Donations for church preservation are eligible for a 65% tax deduction. Loffredo highlighted the significance of culture in fostering renewal.
