Jago Documentary 'Into The White' Hits Italian Cinemas June 18-19

A documentary film titled 'Jago Into The White,' directed by Luigi Pingitore, will be released in Italian cinemas on June 18 and 19, 2024, distributed by Nexo Digital. The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival 2024 and follows sculptor Jago over two years as he creates his work 'La Pietà' in his Naples studio, which has since become a museum. The Guardian reportedly commented that the 'new Michelangelo' brings sculpture into the 21st century. Pingitore described Jago's relationship with marble as almost agonistic, a physical and animalistic struggle. Jago expressed gratitude for the rare opportunity to see himself through another's eyes.
