Jacques Monory's 'Catastrophe Effect' Reviewed in artpress

The July-August 2015 issue of artpress (n°424, p. 77) features a review of Jacques Monory's book 'Écrits, entretiens, récits' published by Beaux-Arts de Paris éditions. The review, titled 'L'effet de catastrophe', examines Monory's work as a painter of the cliché—not only of the photographic image but of received ideas in images, those 'incurable images' for which he compiled a 'world catalogue' around 1975.
