Jacques Henric's 'Faire la vie' Publishes First Pages

The first pages of Jacques Henric's new book 'Faire la vie' have been released by Editions Corlevour. The work consists of an extended interview with Pascal Boulanger, continuing the autobiographical narrative Henric began in 'Politique' (Seuil, 2007). A photo section illustrates stages of the writer's life. In the interview, Henric discusses his modest upbringing in Maintenon and Illiers-Combray, his grandparents' working-class lives, his father's trade unionism in the Communist Party, and his childhood during World War II, including witnessing Allied bombings of a German munitions depot.
