J.K. Rowling has launched a new online portal, 'Harry Potter at Home', within the Wizarding World website, offering free interactive activities, quizzes, readings, puzzles, and video content for children in isolation. The platform aims to entertain and support parents, teachers, and caregivers during lockdown. Rowling announced the initiative via a tweet, stating that Hogwarts has served as an escape for over twenty years and welcomes families back. The initiative is partnered with Amazon's Audible, which offers the first book, 'Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone', narrated by actor Francesco Pannofino. Good Morning America also promoted the launch on Twitter.
