Iwanami Shoten launches complete collection of Hayao Miyazaki's image boards
Iwanami Shoten, a Japanese publishing house, is set to launch 'The Complete Collection of Hayao Miyazaki's Image Board' in December 2024. The initial two volumes will focus on 'Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind' (1984) and 'Castle in the Sky' (1986). Following these, 'My Neighbor Totoro' is scheduled for release in March 2025, with additional titles anticipated thereafter. This collection will feature the 1995 music video 'On Your Mark,' along with short films created for the Ghibli Museum and early television projects. The volumes, published in Japanese, include 108 pages for 'Nausicaä' at 4,200 yen and 136 pages for 'Castle in the Sky' at 4,800 yen, both accompanied by an interview with producer Toshio Suzuki. There are currently no plans for international editions.
