Iva Tratnik's Transgressive Realism: Bodies in Bloom at the Edge of Collapse

Iva Tratnik, a multidisciplinary artist born in 1980, studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. Her artistic endeavors encompass painting, textile collage, sculpture, drawing, installation, and performance, which she labels as 'transgressive realism.' This approach defies simple classification, merging organic and hybrid elements into intricate, almost lifelike arrangements.
