other · 2026-04-26

Università Iulm di Milano offers free courses to the general public through its Iulm for the City project for the 2023/2024 academic year. The initiative aims to make knowledge accessible to people of all ages and professions. After a first semester featuring psychoanalyst Massimo Recalcati, Strega Prize winner Antonio Scurati, and food and wine journalist Annalisa Cavaleri, the second semester starting in February includes film critic and university rector Gianni Canova, professor Roberto Vecchioni, classical archaeology professor Stefania Mancuso, political scientist Angelo Panebianco, and sports manager Pierfrancesco Barletta. Courses are also available as electives for undergraduate and graduate students of the university in the Barona district. Topics range from Italian film history with Canova to international relations theory with Panebianco, the contemporaneity of the ancient with Vecchioni and Mancuso, and sports communication with Barletta.
