Italy's Cultural Festivals: A Guide to Late February Events

A roundup of cultural festivals taking place across Italy from late February 2025. The Salone del Vermouth returns to Turin on February 22-23 at the Museo Nazionale del Risorgimento Italiano, preceded by a Fuori Salone week and three tasting evenings at Museo Lavazza (Feb 19-21). The Salone del Vino follows March 1-3 at OGR. The PhotoVogue Festival, dedicated to conscious fashion photography, returns to BASE Milano March 6-9 with the theme 'The Tree of Life: A Love Letter to Nature.' CineTerme at Montegrotto Terme (Padua) screens films from Lago Film Fest's 20-year archive poolside at Hotel Millepini from February 21 to May 16. The Labirinto della Masone in Fontanellato (Parma) hosts 'Ora d'Arte' from February 28 to April 4, five evening talks on lesser-known art figures. The Crossroads Jazz Festival tours Emilia-Romagna with over 60 concerts from March 1 to August 1. The Premio Buscaglione in Turin runs March 7-28, now including a jazz category. Materia Prima Festival in Florence presents contemporary theater at Teatro Cantiere Florida from March 1 to April 4. Sguardi Altrove Women's International Film Festival in Milan runs March 12 to April 5 across multiple venues.
