Italy on Screen Today Festival in NYC Spotlights Italian Cinema and MigrArti
The second iteration of Italy on Screen Today, organized by Loredana Commonara and backed by Italy's Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Tourism, the Consulate General of Italy in New York, and RAI Cinema, is set to take place in New York from October 19 to 22, 2017. This festival showcases Italian cinema and includes appearances by actors and directors. On October 20, Sergio Castellitto will present Non ti muovere and Venuto al mondo, receiving the Nino Manfredi Art Excellence Award. Vittorio Storaro will be honored with the Wind of Europe International Award. Additionally, Dario Fo will be celebrated with screenings on October 19-20. On October 19, MigrArti will showcase seven short films at NYU, focusing on migration through culture, created by Paolo Masini.
