Italy invests nearly €200 million in cultural heritage and promotion at home and abroad

Under the leadership of Minister Alessandro Giuli, Italy's Ministry of Culture has sanctioned two decrees that together provide almost €200 million to support the nation’s art and culture. The first decree earmarks €176 million for 229 projects aimed at preserving heritage from 2025 to 2027, which includes €7 million for 45 locations in Tuscany and €5 million for 18 sites in Campania, along with additional funding for regions such as Veneto, Calabria, Abruzzo, and Lazio. The second decree designates nearly €20 million for 64 initiatives intended to promote Italian culture internationally, covering efforts in Turkey, Egypt, and a tour across China, Germany, and Spain. Furthermore, over €15 million is allocated for five major cultural projects in 2025, with specific funds for various cultural locations throughout Italy.
