Italy Funds 20 Cultural Centers for Urban Regeneration

The Italian Ministry of Culture has announced the selection of 20 projects as winners of the 'Laboratory of Contemporary Creativity' initiative, which has been allocated €1.8 million to enhance cultural centers through participatory regeneration. This program is aimed at non-profit organizations that have been operational for a minimum of two years and are dedicated to artistic and cultural endeavors that yield social benefits. Among the recipients are Edicola 518 (Perugia), CasciNet (Milan), A.M.A. Factory (Turin), and others. Over the next two years, these centers will execute a cultural program designed to build networks, strengthen community bonds, enhance services, and explore innovative management strategies, with a focus on co-design and collaboration in vulnerable areas.
