Italy Awards Season: Paul Thorel Prize, OGR Award, and More
Italy's cultural awards season is set to unfold throughout February and March 2023, celebrating up-and-coming artists across various disciplines. The Paul Thorel Prize, established by the Paul Thorel Foundation in October 2022, recognized the Clusterduck collective, Jim C Nedd, and Lina Pallotta, who will participate in residencies in Naples from March to October 2023. Soukaina Abrour and Houssem Ben Rabia received residencies from Milano Mediterranea. Rebeca Romero was honored with the OGR Award for her work 'Semilla SAGRADA,' which will be presented on May 17, 2023. The National Landscape Prize went to Orti Generali, while Michela Mariani claimed the Umane Tracce photography award. Biennale College Teatro chose Morana Novosel and Gaetano Palermo for the 51st International Theatre Festival (June 15 – July 1).
