Italo Marseglia: Upcycling and Crochet Tour in Sustainable Fashion

Italian designer Italo Marseglia (born 1990) merges tradition with sustainability through his brand, focusing on upcycling and creative reuse. He launched Uncinetto in tour, a format rediscovering crochet technique, traveling across Italy with yarn and hooks to engage his digital community. The tour will culminate at Salone del Mobile in Milan, where a capsule of five sweaters made with recycled wool from Manteco will be sold for charity. Marseglia is skeptical of fashion contests but credits Altaroma for launching his career.
