Italian YouTuber Babù Is Actually a Cloth Puppet Created by Lorenzo Badioli

Babù is a cloth puppet who has been active as a YouTuber for about a year, posting videos with clickbait titles and delivering delirious monologues aimed at offending other YouTubers. The puppet, a self-proclaimed representative of the "razza pupazza" (puppet race), is the creation of Lorenzo Badioli (born 1991 in Pesaro), an eclectic graphic designer and one-man band. Badioli single-handedly conceives every aspect of the project: from sets to the puppet's voice, from scripts to animations, including music and editing. His narrative style, refined over years through humorous nonsense rhymes, finds in Babù's rambling stories a pretext for a new genre of storytelling that blends childlike language with grotesque humor, neologisms, and wordplay.
