Italian writer and philosopher Franco Bolelli dies at 70
Franco Bolelli, a Milanese philosopher and author, passed away at the age of 70 on October 4–5, 2020, following a prolonged illness, as shared by his wife Manuela Mantegazza on Facebook. He was a co-founder of the Festival dell'Amore, which took place at BASE initially and later at Triennale Milano; the festival's 2020 iteration was conducted online due to the pandemic. Born on July 8, 1950, in Milan, Bolelli was also an essayist and the editor of Gong magazine. He established Musica 80! alongside counterculture icons and curated catalogs for Brian Eno's works.
