Italian Street Artist WOC Collaborates with Virgil Abloh's Off-White

WOC, born in 1995 and based in Turin, is an Italian artist who transitioned from street art to commercial collaborations. He graduated from the Accademia Albertina delle Belle Arti and co-founded the fashion brand Italia90, where he serves as director. WOC has worked with major fashion labels, including Virgil Abloh's Off-White, creating artworks for clothing and album covers. His practice involves reworking photographic images from pop culture using spray paint, a technique he applies both on canvas and outdoors. He avoids preparatory sketches, favoring a fast and instinctive method. Although he started with graffiti at age 10 or 11, he now finds contemporary street art overly decorative and instead studies US graffiti from the 1970s to 1990s. WOC's future plans include launching Italia90's first official clothing collection by the end of the year, while continuing his image-based research.
