Italian Satirical Music from Gaber to Caparezza Critiques Social and Political Norms

Satire in music has served as a sharp tool for social critique across centuries, with Italian artists from the second half of the 20th century onward creating notable works. Giorgio Gaber's 2001 album 'La mia generazione ha perso' and his 1996 song 'Il conformista' mock modern conformity and ideological stagnation.
