Italian Museums Improve Accessibility for Children and Families

Italian contemporary art museums are improving their family-oriented services and accessibility in line with ICOM's 2022 guidelines. GAM Torino allows free admission for visitors up to 18 and offers a Cultural Passport for new mothers, along with programs for children aged 0-12 in partnership with Ospedale Mauriziano and nido Peter Pan. MACRO Roma features guided tours and workshops for families, while MAXXI Roma presents multisensory exhibitions and role-playing activities.
