Italian Museums and Foundations Launch New Digital Initiatives

In response to pandemic-related closures, Italian cultural organizations are introducing digital initiatives. Starting February 24, ROMAISON will feature video interviews and podcasts at the historic wig atelier Rocchetti e Rocchetti. On February 25, the MAXXI museum wraps up its #MAXXIlive 2021 series with Vasco Brondi discussing Luigi Ghirri's photography. Also on February 25, Hub-C will initiate a six-part webinar series titled "Elementi sociali d'impresa per la Cultura." Arthemisia's Art.Live! will present virtual tours of "Le Signore dell'Arte" at Palazzo Reale, launching on March 2. The Giornate di Studio sul Paesaggio will take place online February 25-26. An event at the Archivio Atelier Pharaildis Van den Broeck is scheduled for February 22, while Biblioteca Malatestiana will share a 1579 edition of Dante for International Mother Language Day. Centro Pecci will continue its PECCI ON program on February 24-25, and Elena Bellantoni will perform on February 24 to mark the finissage of the exhibition IMMAGINAZIONI.
