Italian electronic trio YOUAREHERE releases video inspired by Yves Klein's blue
The Italian electronic music project YOUAREHERE, founded in Rome in 2011 by Claudio Del Proposto, Andrea Di Carlo, and Patrizio Piastra, has released a music video for their track "International Klein Blue." The video, created by Andrea De Franco using stop-motion animation with 1,433 drawings, is inspired by Yves Klein's patented International Klein Blue (IKB), which the French artist began using in 1957 to represent concepts of infinity, immateriality, and emptiness. The track is the first single from their upcoming album "PLVS VLTRA," set for release on March 2, 2018, via Fresh Yo! Label. The video depicts an abstract, continuous journey of escape from reality through endless metamorphosis, aiming to sonically capture the perfect synthesis of void and depth represented by Klein's pure colors.
