Italian Design Exhibition 'Home Life' at Design Canberra Festival

The ninth Design Canberra Festival features the 'Home Life' exhibition, which highlights 20 works from Italian designers, under the curation of Elisabetta Pisu. Notable contributors include Michele De Lucchi, Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, Acme21, Mandalaki Studio, Maio, Sofia Durante, Claudio Larcher, and Deanna Comellini. This exhibition focuses on themes such as sustainability, versatility, technology, and biophilia, with backing from the Italian Embassy in Canberra and the Italian Cultural Institute of Sydney. Pisu has led EP studio since 2016 and has worked with numerous museums. Inspired by the 1972 MoMA exhibition 'Italy: The New Domestic Landscape,' key pieces include the Secretello workstation and Eve portable fan heater. The festival features over 200 events, including exhibitions, talks, and symposia.
