Italian cultural sector urges new government to prioritize culture

In the wake of the elections held on September 25, Italian cultural organizations are calling on the newly formed government to give precedence to the cultural sector. Confindustria Cultura has suggested that the focus should be on enhancing the sector's value, ensuring regulatory stability, encouraging cultural consumption, and fighting against piracy. This sector is significant, generating €16 billion and providing jobs for over 200,000 individuals. President Innocenzo Cipolletta emphasized the importance of culture in education and advocated for the continuation of initiatives such as the 18APP youth bonus and tax benefits for cultural expenditures.
