Italian cultural institutions launch online events for May 2021
With the reopening of Italian museums in yellow zones, new digital initiatives are being introduced. The PART Palazzi dell'Arte Rimini has initiated 'Una voce a PART', which includes six videos and podcasts centered on Collezione San Patrignano, beginning with Emilio Isgrò's piece 'La Tavola della Legge ovvero la Bibbia di vetro' (1994). Flavio Favelli's trailer will be available on May 3, followed by a podcast on May 5 and a minivideo on May 7. Pistoia Musei, in collaboration with Sky Arte, presents 'Storie di artisti – Aurelio Amendola', releasing videos each Saturday throughout May. Additionally, Palazzo Strozzi provides a Family Kit for JR's 'La Ferita', while Audiovisiva debuts with over 300 documentaries. The University of Verona's 'Its dark materials' series kicks off on May 6, and the Fondazione Scuola dei beni e delle attività culturali offers 18 free webinars until November 17, 2021, including a discussion with Andreco on May 7.
