Italian Cultural Institutions Launch Holiday Gift Subscriptions and Partnerships
Fondazione Torino Musei has partnered with Piedmontese agricultural company Fantolino to promote Turin's culture and local products. Galleria Varsi in Rome and Milanese record label Asian Fake are hosting two artistic-musical temporary stores. The Castello di Rivoli Museum shop offers limited-edition items including 100 signed copies of Michael Rakowitz's 'Imperfect Binding' (€100 each) and a Maurizio Cattelan scarf. Bologna's new Card Cultura subscription provides 12 months of free museum entry and discounts on shows, theaters, cinemas, concerts, and festivals for €25 (€15 for under 26). From January 1, 2020, the Pompei 365 annual pass allows unlimited visits to Pompeii for €60 (€80 including Oplontis and Boscoreale; Stabia is free). Youth aged 18-25 pay €8. During the holiday launch (December 15-31), prices drop to €50 for Pompeii and €70 for all sites via TicketOne. Regular single-entry tickets will cost €16 from January 1. Director General Massimo Osanna stated the subscription responds to public demand following a petition.
