Italian Council 2025 Announces 55 Winning Projects with €2.7M Funding

The DGCC of the Italian Ministry of Culture has revealed the 55 projects awarded funding as part of the 14th Italian Council 2025, totaling €2.7 million. Established in 2016, this initiative aims to promote Italian art on a global scale. Out of 337 submissions, 13 projects were chosen for Ambito 1, featuring works like Bianca Baldi's Sicomoro Centenario at Museo delle Civiltà, Enrico David's Domani torno / I Am Back Tomorrow at Castello di Rivoli, and Jacopo Belloni's Dormancy at GAMeC Bergamo. Ambito 2 supports 21 exhibitions, including those by Petrit Halilaj and Giorgio Griffa, while Ambito 3 backs 21 research initiatives for emerging talents. This program is accessible to Italian artists, curators, critics, museums, and cultural organizations worldwide.
