Italian Council 2024: 67 Projects Win €2.7M for Italian Art Abroad

The Italian Ministry of Culture has revealed the 67 successful projects for the 13th edition of the Italian Council 2024, allocating a total budget of €2.7 million. The 2024 iteration comprises three categories: Area 1 (International Commissioning and Acquisition) featuring 12 projects for institutions such as Madre and MAMbo; Area 2 (International Promotion) with 26 projects, including exhibitions at Portikus Frankfurt and De Appel Amsterdam; and Area 3 (Talent Development), which supports 29 research initiatives by artists like Gerolamore and Ginevra Ludovici.
