Italian Children's Book Market Declines Despite Growing Output
The Italian Association of Publishers (AIE) reported a 3% decline in sales of comics and children's books in the first half of 2024, despite an increase in production. AIE president Innocenzo Cipolletta attributed the drop partly to reduced spending from new cultural cards replacing the 18app Bonus Cultura.
