Italian Artists Exhibiting Abroad: A Selection of Current Shows

A roundup of recent and ongoing exhibitions featuring Italian artists in international venues. At Grazer Kunstverein in Graz, Austria, a major retrospective of Ezio Gribaudo (1929–2022) titled "Il Peso del Concreto" runs until March, exploring his interdisciplinary practice as artist and publisher, with set design by Davide Stucchi. In Prague, Michele Gabriele's "Walking Our Distance" at MeetFactory presents hyperrealistic sculptures and objects addressing post-digital themes, on view until January 28. Andrea Bianconi's fifteenth solo show "Invisible Dance" at Barbara Davis Gallery in Houston (through March 2) examines the space between soul and body using veils, drawings, and sculptures. At the Italian Embassy in Dublin, Davide Rivalta's "Grazing in Lucan" features bronze buffalo sculptures in Lucan House park and a lioness sculpture at Dublin Castle, organized with the Italian Cultural Institute, the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art, and the Office of Public Works, on view until April. Finally, "Bruno Munari. El artista" at Museo MACA in Manantiales, Uruguay (until March 10) is the first major public retrospective dedicated to Munari's work as an artist within Futurism, Concrete Art, Kinetic and Conceptual Art, curated by Marco Meneguzzo.
