architecture-design · 2026-05-04

The Italian architecture studio open-day initiative, Open Studi Aperti, is set to return for its second edition on May 18-19, 2018, just prior to the 16th Venice Architecture Biennale. This event, organized by the CNAPPC's Department of Culture, Promotion of Architectural Culture, and the Figure of the Architect, in partnership with ProViaggiArchitettura, encourages architecture firms throughout Italy to welcome the public. Registration commenced on April 16 through the official website. The inaugural event in 2017 attracted over 30,000 visitors to 650 studios nationwide, featuring renowned firms such as Renzo Piano Building Workshop, David Chipperfield Architects, and Carlo Ratti Associati. This initiative leads up to the VIII National Congress of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects, and Conservators, taking place from July 5-7 in Rome, which focuses on enhancing urban quality of life. A series of 14 preparatory meetings started in Bari on February 2, engaging citizens and local stakeholders.
